Redress event - Good Law Project

Good Law Project + REDRESS

Join Good Law Project and REDRESS at 6pm on Wednesday 9 March for an online discussion on the current fragile state of UK citizenship.
Our panel will discuss the hollowing out of the rights accorded to UK citizenship, how the Nationality & Borders Bill could affect that, the protection of UK citizens from torture abroad, and how civil society and the legal profession should respond.
The exciting panel for this will be:
  • Jo Maugham, Good Law Project's Director and our moderator for the evening
  • Richard Ratcliffe, campaigner and husband of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe
  • Yasmine Ahmed, UK Director of Human Rights Watch
  • Ayesha Christie, a leading barrister in the field of immigration, asylum and nationality law, practicing at Matrix Chambers
  • Rupert Skilbeck, Director of REDRESS
You don't need to download anything before the event; you can watch this live on the Good Law Project Facebook page or on the Good Law Project Twitter account.
If you’re unable to watch the panel live on Facebook or Twitter, you can watch the recorded event on our YouTube channel. The recorded discussion will be available on Thursday 10 March.
Register for free now and we'll email you with a reminder and a link to the live event before it begins.
