The Home Office’s compensation scheme has failed to right the wrongs suffered by the Windrush generation. Windrush Lives, along with Good Law Project, are pushing back. We are campaigning for an overhaul of the scheme to help those who were so appallingly mistreated by the Home Office to receive justice. In particular, we do not believe that justice can be delivered whilst the scheme is run by the Home Office.
To make things change, we need to hear from individuals who are eligible for the Windrush compensation scheme. Information collected in this short survey will be shared anonymously with Windrush Lives to help its campaign to make the compensation scheme fair.
Windrush Lives and Good Law Project also intend to take legal action over the Home Office’s failure to properly compensate those affected by the Windrush scandal. Information collected in this survey will be anonymised and shared with our legal team and used to help strengthen the case.
